Magic Wand Minnie vs Daisy (Change): Which First?

Intl early impressions: Magic Wand Minnie vs Daisy (Change). One player evaluation so far; pick by your Tsums and coin goals.

Short answer: there isn't a settled winner yet. These are early impressions. So far, only one written player evaluation exists for the International version, and it rates both Tsums "Above average." That player leans toward Minnie, but they only own her at Skill Level 1. This guide helps you decide which to focus on based on what you already own and what you want coins for. It isn't a ranking.

  • Official: both are new "Change" Tsums in the Intl Premium Box (official X, Nov 2 and Nov 3)
  • Player opinion (one Reddit post): Minnie has easy burst skills before and after she transforms. Daisy makes bubbles, and after she transforms they gain a Maleficent-type effect
  • Unconfirmed: skill numbers, coin earnings, and which one is "better." No second written Intl source yet

How we checked: the official International X account (@LINE_tsumtsum_g), r/TsumTsum, and International-version YouTube uploads, as of Nov 4 (Wed), 5:00 AM Taiwan time (UTC+8). We didn't use Japanese-version guides, numbers, or Fandom skill values for this article.

First: you can't pick one in the Premium Box

Both Tsums are in the Premium Box, where every pull is random. "Which first?" is really about three things:

  1. Which one to play and level up first once you have both
  2. Where to put Skill Tickets, if you use them on a new Tsum
  3. Whether to keep pulling after you get one, hoping for the other

If you're new to how "Change" Tsums work (the transformation, and a sub Tsum leaving the board), read Change Tsums explained for Intl players first. For the box itself and the Lucky Time, see Magic Wand Minnie & Daisy Join the Premium Box.

The official First Look

The post says "Check out the Skills of new Tsums!" and features Magic Wand Minnie(Change) and Magic Wand Daisy(Change). It doesn't give skill numbers or say which one is stronger.

What the one written evaluation says (player opinion)

From the r/TsumTsum evaluation post (Nov 2, 4:09 PM Taiwan time):

Magic Wand Minnie (Change) Magic Wand Daisy (Change)
Rating "Above average" "Above average"
Before the change Easy burst skill Makes bubbles
After the change Still an easy burst skill The bubbles gain a Maleficent-type effect
On transforming Removes a sub Tsum Removes a sub Tsum
Poster's experience Owns her at SL1. Says she's "a lot of fun" and says they get "about 1200 coins" Doesn't own her yet. Plans to try for her

The poster also says other players think Minnie "has higher potential than the sites say." That's secondhand, so treat it as a mood, not a measurement. The coin figure is one player at SL1, not a tested average.

Our take: in this description, Minnie sounds like the simpler Tsum to play: chain her, burst, repeat. Daisy's bubbles sound like they take more planning to get the most out of. That fits the poster's note that Minnie is easy and fun. But "easier" doesn't mean "earns more," and nobody has posted a written side-by-side yet.

Videos worth watching (opinion only)

These were uploaded after the Intl release on Nov 2. We link them so you can watch the skills yourself. We're not quoting any coin numbers from their titles as fact.

TsumerTube, Magic Wand Minnie (Change), Skill Level 1 (about 3 min). The channel also posted the same SL1 video for Daisy. Watching both at the same skill level is the fairest quick comparison you can make right now.

Coffee&Tea, Minnie at SL4 with the 5→4 item. The uploader's description admits they're "not sure how to play this tsum," then lists tips. Before she transforms, chain 7 or more of the pink sub Tsums, or use Minnie's skill, to create a jewel bubble, and you need 5 of those to transform. That's one player's tips (unconfirmed), but it matches the general idea in our Change Tsums explainer.

Why we skipped some videos: a few popular Minnie and Daisy videos were uploaded before the International release. They may show the Japanese version, so we didn't use them here.

So which one first? It depends

Your situation Lean toward Why
You want something easy to play at low skill levels Minnie The one written evaluation calls her burst skill easy, before and after the change
You already have several strong burst-type coin Tsums Daisy Her bubble style plays differently, so she adds more variety. Whether she earns more is unconfirmed
You like Tsums that reward planning Daisy Bubbles you set up, plus an extra effect after the change (per the player evaluation)
You only have a few minutes per session Wait and watch A player in an earlier thread found Minnie's games run long. Coins per minute matter more than coins per game for you
You're saving coins for a later box Maybe neither yet Random pulls, no proven coin edge so far

Our take: if you already pulled one, play that one first. Don't spend more pulls hoping for the other until more International players post numbers. Each one removes a sub Tsum when it transforms, so either way you get the longer chains that make Change Tsums worth having.

What's still unconfirmed

  • Exact skill numbers for either Tsum on the International version
  • Average coins per game or per minute at any skill level
  • When the Premium Box Lucky Time ends, and whether these Tsums are limited-time
  • Whether the Secret Magical Minnie Event will boost either Tsum. Its dates and bonus Tsums haven't been announced

We'll update this page when a second written International source compares them.

How sure is this: the Tsums and the Premium Box are official. Everything about strength comes from one player's written evaluation and videos, so it's labeled as opinion.
