Change Tsums explained for Intl players

What 'Change' means on Magic Wand Minnie and Daisy (Intl): what two Intl sources agree on, and what is Fandom-only so far.

Magic Wand Minnie (Change) and Magic Wand Daisy (Change) are the first "Change" Tsums in the International Premium Box. In short: during a game, they transform. After that, one type of sub Tsum leaves the board and their skill gets stronger. Two International sources agree on that much. The finer details of how you trigger the transformation come from Fandom alone for now, so we list them separately as unconfirmed.

  • Confirmed (official X + Fandom + Reddit): both new Tsums are "Change" Tsums
  • Confirmed (Fandom + Reddit): after the transformation, one sub Tsum type is removed from the board, and the skill changes into a stronger version
  • Unconfirmed (Fandom only): the jewel-bubble gauge, the heart button, how long the transformation lasts, and what happens after it

How we checked: the official International X account (@LINE_tsumtsum_g), the Disney Tsum Tsum Wiki on Fandom, and r/TsumTsum, as of Nov 3 (Tue), 5:00 AM Taiwan time (UTC+8). We did not use any Japanese-version info, numbers, or guides for this article.

What "(Change)" means

The official International posts on Nov 2 list the new Tsums as "Magic Wand Minnie(Change)" and "Magic Wand Daisy(Change)". Fandom files both under its Change Tsums category, and the r/TsumTsum evaluation post calls them both "transformation Tsums."

Fandom used to call them "(Shift)". Those page names now redirect to "(Change)", matching the official name.

What two Intl sources agree on

What happens Fandom r/TsumTsum player evaluation Status
The Tsum transforms during a game "Change Transformation" "before and after transformation" Confirmed
One type of sub Tsum disappears when it transforms Says the other Tsums ("Compact Tsums") disappear, so there are fewer Tsum types "Transformation eliminates a sub Tsum!" (for both Minnie and Daisy) Confirmed
The skill changes after the transformation "Skill will upgrade (varies depending on Tsum)" Minnie keeps easy burst skills after transforming; Daisy's bubbles get an extra Maleficent-type effect Confirmed (the general idea; exact numbers aren't)

Why fewer Tsum types matters: with one type gone, the Tsums left on the board are more likely to sit next to each other. Chains get longer, and long chains mean more Fever time and more coins. That's the real payoff of these Tsums, more than the skill itself.

How you trigger it (Fandom only, unconfirmed)

Fandom's Change Tsums page describes the steps like this. No second International source has confirmed these steps yet, so check them against what you see in your own games:

  1. Burst special Jewel Bubbles during play. Fandom says your skill creates them, and so does chaining the other Tsums.
  2. Each Jewel Bubble you burst lights up one of 5 jewels at the bottom of the screen.
  3. When all 5 are lit, a heart-shaped button appears. Tap it to transform.
  4. After the change, Fandom says the transformation lasts until the end of the game. Jewel Bubbles keep coming, and lighting all 5 again brings the button back. This time it triggers a burst in the middle of the board.

Fandom compares this to Shift Tsums. The difference is that Shift Tsums fill their gauge by clearing a certain Tsum type, while Change Tsums fill it with these bubbles.

Our take: if Fandom has it right, the most common mistake will be forgetting to tap the button. The transformation doesn't start by itself in this description. In your first few games, watch the bottom of the screen.

What players have said so far

These are single-player reports, not tests with numbers:

  • The evaluation post (Nov 2, 4:09 PM Taiwan) rates both as "Above average." The poster only owns Minnie, at Skill Level 1.
  • One player who had been "playing her for the last hour" said Minnie's games average about 5 minutes, and worked that out to "less than 1000 coins a minute." Their point was that coin sites rank Tsums by coins per minute, not per game.

Our take: a long game that pays a lot isn't automatically a good coin Tsum. If you only have a few minutes at a time, coins per minute matters more than coins per game. We don't have International skill numbers from two sources yet, so we're not ranking either Tsum here.

Things to know before pulling

Item Status
Both are in the Intl Premium Box with a Lucky Time (from Nov 2, 4:00 PM Taiwan) Official
Double growth rates for new Tsums Official only, no end date given
Limited-time Tsums that leave the box after an event Unconfirmed (Fandom says "Limited Event Tsum"; nothing official)
An International "Secret Magical Minnie Event" in November Unconfirmed (listed on Fandom only, no dates; see the November preview)
Magic Wand Clarice (Change) Fandom lists her as a third Change Tsum, but she is not in the Intl Premium Box post
Exact skill numbers on Intl Unconfirmed

Fandom's Daisy page still says she is "currently only available on the Japanese Version." That line is out of date: the official Intl post puts her in the Premium Box.

For the box itself, Lucky Time and the first player reactions, see Magic Wand Minnie & Daisy Join the Premium Box.

This guide reflects what we found as of Nov 3 (Tue), 5:00 AM Taiwan time. Always check the in-game skill description as well.
