Ambitious Scar skill tips (Intl)

Ambitious Scar is the "other" Scar in the International app: a limited-time Premium Tsum whose skill clears a vertical line of Tsums. If you're looking for the regular Premium Box Scar (horizontal line), that's a different Tsum, covered in our Scar skill guide.

The short version:

He's a coin Tsum when you use gyro. A February 2026 Reddit evaluation rates him "above average when using gyro," and a skill-6 gameplay video earns about 7.6K coins
Skill 1 needs 21 Tsums. That's a high trigger, so at low skill levels he's slow
The max skill level in the International app is 6, not 7. Our Tsum catalog page still lists 7 levels, so read the note below before you count copies

Lv 8 = 235 is exactly 60 + 7 × 25, so the in-game screen and Fandom agree.

Our catalog: score corrected, skill levels still differ

On 2026-10-29 we corrected the score on our Ambitious Scar catalog page from 50 / +23 to 60 / +25, the same as Fandom and the in-game screens in both videos. One difference is left:

The in-game screens in both videos match Fandom on max skill level. We haven't fixed the catalog's 7th skill level yet. Your own Tsum card is the final word.

Two more items are Fandom only (unconfirmed): the triggers for SL2–6 (20/19/18/17/16 Tsums), and that the skill clears two lines, first on the left, then on the right. In our frame check of the gameplay video, we could see the Scar cut-in and a big vertical clear, but at the video's resolution we couldn't count the lines with confidence.

Our commentary: This is the one to watch if you want to know whether he's worth playing for coins. A few things we noticed going through it:

The coin count is the headline. During Last Bonus the counter sits around 7,685 coins, which matches the "7.6K" in the title. The result screen afterwards shows 9,991 coins and 24,259,331 points. The video doesn't show the item setup or explain the gap, so we can't break down where the extra coins came from. Compare the in-play number, not the result screen
The level-up screen at the end shows Ambitious Scar going from Lv 8 (score 235) to Lv 9 (260). That's how we confirmed the +25 per level
Fever comes often. Several of the skill activations line up with Fever, and the screen keeps turning over. That's the "gyro" playstyle the Reddit rating refers to: tilting the phone so Tsums slide into the cleared column

Our commentary: This is a brand-new copy: the card at the start shows Level 1, Skill 1/6, Score 60, Range XS, 21 Tsums needed, which is where most of our confirmed numbers come from. The run ends at 1,901,050 points and 368 coins with no score item. Put next to Michelle's run, it shows how much of his value comes from skill level. At skill 1 he's a slow, ordinary Tsum. He gets good once the skill fires more often.

Is he good? (opinions)

Reddit (MalibuDan, Feb 2, 2026): "Ambitious Scar is above average when using gyro." In that post, "above average" means a Tsum that earns about 5K coins at skill 6 with the 5→4 item. That's one evaluator's view, not a measured average
Michelle's video: about 7.6K coins at skill 6 (in-play counter). One run, so treat it as an example, not a guarantee

Our take: Both point the same way: at skill 6 he's a solid coin earner if you use gyro. Without gyro, the vertical clear only hits what's in that column, so he'll feel weaker. Below skill 4 or so, we wouldn't plan coin runs around him.

How to get him

Fandom lists him as a Premium, limited-time event Tsum (Japanese debut October 2023, International debut December 2024). He comes back through limited boxes: Reddit's February 2026 leak thread listed him in a Villains-only Select Box that ran until Feb 8. There's no announcement of his next return. If he shows up in a box, check the box contents in the game.

Fandom puts him in these categories: Villains, male, brown, initial S and A, feline, facial hair, eyebrows, The Lion King, and vertical-burst skill. The category list is Fandom only (unconfirmed). Check the mission's Tsum list in the game before you spend items.
