Epel Felmier skill explained (Intl)

Intl October Tsum Epel Felmier: apples, chaining Epel, skill timings by level, and whether he's worth your coins.

Epel Felmier is one of two Twisted Wonderland Tsums in the International app's October lineup. The other is Ortho Shroud. For a while it wasn't clear whether he'd actually make it to International. The wiki listed him as Japan-only until 10/12, when it was updated to include the International Villains Halloween event. Tsum Tsum Lab's International page also lists him as one of this month's four new Tsums.

Short version:

  • Skill: for a few seconds, apples appear on the board. Chain Epel and he also clears the Tsums around him
  • Duration goes from 4.0 s at SL1 to 7.0 s at SL6. That's short, so you have to play fast
  • He's a limited-time Premium Box Tsum, and he earns the Character Bonus in Villains Halloween
  • Our take: pull him if you're a Twisted Wonderland fan or you chase scores. If you want coins, skip him

Both sources give the same durations. The "skill upgrade" column (copies needed per level, which add up to 32) is from Fandom's table.

How the skill plays

  1. When the skill fires, one type of Tsum turns into apples (Fandom's description)
  2. While it runs, Epel glows. Chaining Epel clears the Tsums around him too
  3. Fandom says clearing apples also clears the Tsums around them, and that apples and Epel can't be chained together
  4. Apple bottles (Fandom only): apples you clear fill bottles at the bottom of the screen. When the skill ends, you get one extra burst for each full bottle. Tsum Tsum Lab doesn't mention this, so treat it as Fandom only until you've seen it on your own board

Tsum Tsum Lab gives this priority order during the skill: Epel → apples → other Tsums. Keep chains short so you keep bubble-cancelling, and carry the skill over into the next fever if you can.

Should you pull?

This is our opinion, built on Tsum Tsum Lab's ratings (Overall ★2, Coins ★2, Score ★4, Missions ★2):

  • Coins: weak at every skill level. Your coins are better spent chasing Disney Villains (Set) while it's in the box
  • Score: this is where he shines. Tsum Tsum Lab says 100 million points is possible at max skill. But a 4–7 second window makes it a hard Tsum to play well
  • Missions: fine for bubble-count missions. He's tagged with fewer traits than the Set, though. See which Villains Halloween missions the Set covers for a sense of how much one Tsum can carry
  • Skill Tickets: don't. Tsum Tsum Lab rates his Skill Ticket priority ★1
  • Fans: he's limited, and nobody knows when he'll come back. If you want the full Twisted Wonderland set, get him this month

Still unconfirmed

  • The exact date he went live in International
  • The apple-bottle bonus burst (Fandom only)
  • The real-world score range on an International account. We haven't found a clear International gameplay video yet. If we do, we'll add it here
