Dark Fairy Maleficent｜How to Play Her (Intl)

Short version: Dark Fairy Maleficent is a short-chain Tsum. When her skill fires, one Tsum type is wiped off the board, and for a few seconds every chain you make also clears the Tsums around it, bubbles included. The two International players we checked both say the same thing: make lots of 3–5 Tsum chains quickly instead of hunting for one long chain.

Randomtsum calls her "more of a high score earner than a coin farmer" and rates her difficulty as high. The useful part is the tip list on screen. Start chaining near the edges first: a 3–4 chain there clears about 9–12 Tsums instead of 13–16 in the middle, and Randomtsum finds that makes time bubbles more often. We can't verify the 9–16 counts ourselves, so treat them as one player's estimate. The other tip we'd copy straight away: spam the skill button rather than waiting for the board to settle.

Keep in mind this run stacks three paid items and extra time, so 12.6k is not what a plain 5▶4 run will give you.

The video opens on the in-game NEW! card with her International Chinese name and skill text, which is a handy way to confirm what the skill does in that app. In the linked blog post, the same player explains her routine. Aim for 3–5 Tsum chains, which she found most likely to make time bubbles. Clear the board in a left/right, top/bottom order so the Tsum you clear doesn't empty the spot you want to chain next. And right after the skill fires, watch where the Maleficents are, since the removed type is never your My Tsum.

The 18,972 includes the +Coin item, and the run is five years older than Randomtsum's. So don't compare the coin totals one to one.

How to play her (our take)

Both players reach the same conclusion from different angles, so this is the routine we'd suggest:

Charge the skill on your My Tsum and tap the skill button repeatedly so you carry Tsums into the next activation
When the skill fires, one type disappears. Look for the Maleficents while the board refills
During the skill, make short chains of 3–5, starting near the edges
Don't tap bubbles by hand during the skill. Chains next to them pop them for free
After the skill, pop leftover bubbles and get straight back to charging

She's rated difficult by Randomtsum, and both videos are SL6. If your copy is lower level, expect a shorter skill and fewer activations. We don't have International numbers for lower levels (see below).
