Where to Get Skill Tickets in Tsum Tsum (International)

Every regular way to earn Skill Tickets on the International app — Pick Up Capsules, daily mission chests, Sticker Books and events — with what's confirmed and what isn't.

A Skill Ticket raises one Tsum's skill level by one, so it's the most valuable free item in the game. A returning player asked on Bahamut's Tsum Tsum board this week how to level skills faster, and the answers boiled down to "grab every Skill Ticket you can." This guide lists the regular sources on the International app, and separates what two sources agree on from what only one source says.

Short version:

  • Pick Up Capsules: empty the whole capsule and the last prize is a Skill Ticket. This is the most reliable source if you have coins (confirmed by Fandom and a video)
  • Daily missions: finishing them fills a treasure chest that can contain a Skill Ticket (Fandom and Bahamut agree). The odds are unconfirmed
  • Sticker Books and monthly events: most months include at least one Skill Ticket as a card reward (Fandom and Bahamut)
  • Ads: one Bahamut player says ads can give one. Unconfirmed

For how many copies (or tickets) each Tsum needs to max out, see our Skill Upgrade Chart (International).

1. Pick Up Capsules: the last prize is a Skill Ticket

Pick Up Capsules show up from time to time as an extra option in the Store. Each one holds a fixed set of Tsums, usually 15. If you open every capsule, you get a Skill Ticket as the final prize. Fandom says this, and the video below shows it happening.

Detail What we found Confidence
Emptying the capsule gives a Skill Ticket Yes Confirmed (Fandom + Judynik video)
Usual number of Tsums 15 Confirmed (Fandom says "usually 15"; the video says "all 15")
Cost 30,000 coins per Tsum, 450,000 total Unconfirmed (Fandom only)
A maxed Tsum's slot turns into a Premium Ticket Yes Unconfirmed (Fandom only)
The ticket arrives in your mailbox Yes Unconfirmed (video only)
Sometimes the last prize is a special Tsum instead Occasionally Unconfirmed (Fandom only)

If the video doesn't load: Get A Skill Ticket! After Opening All 15 Pickup Capsules (Judynik Tsum)

It's a 38-second clip from 2023: the last capsule opens, the "you bought all the pickup capsules" screen appears, and the Skill Ticket goes to the mailbox. It's old, but it's useful because it shows the exact screen you're working toward. Our take: the capsule is only worth emptying if you actually want the Tsums inside it, or if you have coins to spare after your farming Tsum is set. You're paying for 15 Tsums plus a ticket, not just the ticket. If the lineup is all Tsums you already maxed, those slots become Premium Tickets (per Fandom), which is still decent value.

2. Daily missions: a chest that can hold a Skill Ticket

Daily missions are small goals like "earn X coins" or "use your skill X times" that reset every day. Finishing them adds up toward a treasure chest. Both Fandom and the Bahamut reply mention it as a Skill Ticket source.

Everything else about the chest comes from Fandom only, so treat it as unconfirmed:

Detail (Fandom only) Value
Missions per day 3 (sometimes 5 during events)
Reward per mission 200 medals
Missions needed to open a chest 10
Daily reset 15:00 UTC (midnight JST)
Chest (Fandom only, unconfirmed) Skill Ticket chance Premium Ticket chance
Blue Star chest 0.1% 1%
Gold Star chest 15% 20%

Fandom's Daily Missions page was last edited in January 2026, so the odds may be out of date. Our take: a Blue chest ticket is basically a lottery win. The point of daily missions is the steady medals and the occasional Gold chest. Since your normal coin runs usually finish them anyway, they cost you nothing extra.

3. Sticker Books and monthly events

Monthly content is the most predictable source. Bahamut's reply lists "monthly missions and the Sticker Book," and Fandom's event pages back that up:

  • Sticker Books: Fandom lists a Skill Ticket as a card reward in both the June 2026 and July 2026 books. Both times it was Card 4, but which card carries it is unconfirmed (Fandom only), so check the reward on each card in-game
  • This month's event: in Villains Halloween, Card 3 and Card 5 each give a Skill Ticket. See our Villains Halloween rewards tally

Updated 10/27: The October 2026 Sticker Book does include a Skill Ticket. Fandom lists it, and the in-game start screen in RelaxZone's video shows Skill Tickets among the rewards. Fandom puts it on Card 4 again, but the card position is Fandom only (unconfirmed). It ends Nov 1 11:59 PM PST (Nov 2 3:59 PM in Taiwan). Details: October 2026 Sticker Book (Intl).

4. Ads (unconfirmed)

One Bahamut reply says watching ads "sometimes" gives a Skill Ticket. We couldn't find a second International source for this, so it's unconfirmed. If you see an ad reward screen, it costs nothing to check.

Where should the tickets go?

This is our judgment, not a sourced fact:

  1. Your main coin farmer first. Bahamut's reply ends the same way: having a Tsum that earns coins matters most, because coins buy boxes and capsules, which give more skill levels
  2. Then Tsums for this month's event missions, if a card is stuck
  3. Never on Happiness Tsums. They max out quickly from normal pulls; see the Skill Upgrade Chart

If you're still building a coin farmer, our coin-farming Tsums guide and first 30 days roadmap are good next reads.

Summary

  • Confirmed: emptying a Pick Up Capsule gives a Skill Ticket; daily mission chests can contain one; Sticker Books and monthly events usually include one
  • Unconfirmed (single source): chest odds and mission counts, capsule cost, the maxed-Tsum Premium Ticket swap, which Sticker Book card has the ticket, and ads
  • Spend tickets on your coin farmer first

Rewards can change from month to month, so always check the reward shown in-game.
